  1. Did anybody else notice the word "Liberte" on the side of the cathedral? I'd assume that's part of the infamous French Revolution motto "Liberte, Fraternite, Egalite" - but what's it doing on a cathedral, in a painting of First Communicants? VERY interesting. ^_^

  2. Wow, good eyes! When you enlarge it you can see "Liberte, Egalite, Fraternite" on the other side. That is odd . . . judging by the artist's other works, it's probably a real cathedral somewhere in France . . . I wonder which one!
