"Dulce Domum" (lit. Sweetly at Home) is a song written by Robert S. Ambrose in 1876.

She looks rather melancholy for someone who is sweetly at home.

Maybe she's waiting for her love to return home? Or maybe she's bored out of her mind??? Hahahaa...just kidding!

Well, it is a very lovely painting of Grimshaw's, and I've always thought 'melancholy' in a painting is the good way to go back in those olden days. :)
