Moonlight After Rain, ????
Oil on canvas

Ooooh, isn't this painting creepy? I absolutely love it. It looks like it's straight out of a Gothic novel! The moonlight and the trees are perfect.

  3. Oh, it's so beautiful, in a spine chilling way. It also seems really peaceful.

I wonder if the person is leaving the house. The house seems cozy, yet it feels as if there is something suspicious going on.

I'm getting two completely opposite mental pictures from this, and I'm loving it!

  6. The Woman In White by Wilkie Collins. It's an old book but easy to read and gosh, once it gets started you can't put it down!!
This painting looks like the scene where the moment before the main character is meets a mysterious woman in white, all alone int he moonlight. Very creepy scene. ;)
